JohnFoxe.JPG

John Foxe (1517-87) fled to the Continent during the reign of Mary I, and on his return, wrote a history of the English Protestant martyrs from the 14th century to his own time. Usually known as The Book of Martyrs, it traces the triumph of Protestantism through the sufferings of English Protestants.

This 'Category One Research Project' of the British Academy has produced a new, definitive edition of John Foxe's Acts and Monuments of the English Martyrs, based on a textual reconstruction of the four editions published in Foxe's lifetime.

The facsimile of the 1583 edition was published for the British Academy by the Oxford University Press on CD-ROM in June 2001.

GenealogyPrinters.jpg

A GEDCOM can be used by GENEALOGYPRINTERS.COM to print your entire tree on one continuous piece of paper 24 to 40 inches tall and as wide as it needs to be. They can print a full family tree containing every person in your GEDCOM, an ancestor chart, or a descendant chart. Choices are available regarding font and background colours. With some charts, it is also possible to provide 'wallpaper' backgrounds, a Coat of Arms or even a photo of your choice. You even decide what information to have in the boxes. If you already have a GEDCOM (or we have supplied one), but are dissatisfied with innumerable sheets of A4 pasted together, why not treat yourself to a quality chart as described above?
